My name is Joshua Buchanan and I was born and raised in Bellingham, Washington. I went to college at the University of Washington and got my Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am an Engineer by day and a Photographer and Videographer by heart.

So, how did I get here.  Growing up my brother and I (twins) were always outside playing, and we loved to be in the woods or fields or ponds around our house. Once we got older that transitioned into hiking and exploring the PNW. Up to this point though, we were never capturing much of our adventures, besides the casual phone pictures that never came out well.

Once I got to college however, I learned about this program available to me that allowed me to rent DSLR cameras from the college for days at a time. Just simply out of curiosity I decided to try this out and rent a DSLR before a long weekend and take it with me on my adventure. That is where this Love and Passion all began! I immediately fell in love with what I was able to capture with this camera and also fell in love with capturing so well what my eyes have been seeing all this time.

From there I knew I had to get my own and went out and bought my first camera. I knew very little about photography and videography at that point, but I was instantly addicted. I spent countless hours on YouTube learning the ins and outs of these DSLRs and also countless hours learning how to Photo Edit and Video Edit, everything being completely self taught. As I continued to dive into this artform my skillset and eye for creativity began to improve over time, to the point where I am at now. I still am learning new things everyday and I am still addicted to becoming better and advance in this artform. Come along with me on this journey.
